Mobile STEAM laboratory – InfoMobil
The InfoMobil model of mobile STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) laboratory and career guidance was adapted in collaboration with the associations of employers from metal and electronics industry from Germany and Latvia.
An interactive and user-friendly database for youth comprising information about the specializations in electronics and metal processing industry, vocational training, employment and career opportunities is being developed.
The InfoMobil with a length of 17,5 m is equipped with modern appliances: 3D printers, lathe and milling machines, testing equipment for human physiological characteristics, various training stands. It is possible to use computer-based training places and test simulation programs of machine control and production cycle, i.e. you can use modern control equipment and learn to control lathe and milling machines.
